The event

One of Tri-Life’s inaugural events, the conquering of Kilimanjaro remains a true bucket list achievement for all 29 Tri-Life adventurers. With people flying in from 4 continents to take part, this challenge gave Tri-Life a truly global feel.

The Challenge

The lesser traveller Rongai route takes the northern approach to the world’s tallest free-standing mountain and Team Tri-Life remain the largest group to summit with a 100% successes rate. Hiking through the forests to Simba Camp, the desert like terrain up to Kikilewa Camp and through the wind, rain and Ice to Gilman’s point, Team Tri-Life battled the elements to stand on top of the highest point in Africa.

Tri-life has one mission, to #SPEEDTHECURE for cancer. We’ve witnessed first-hand the devastating impact this disease can have on every life it touches.

We believe life should no limits. Our annual events take ordinary people and present them with EXTRAORDINARY challenges to overcome.
